Home » Arsenal To Sign Declan Rice From West Ham

After weeks of rumours and talks, Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham United, will sign a contract with Arsenal after an agreement with West Ham.

As a result, Arsenal will finally sign their top target for this season after a compromise on the £105 million deal’s structure was struck on Tuesday night.

Arsenal, it is believed, will pay the initial £100 million over two years. This week, Rice will have a medical before signing a long-term contract.

Rice, who progressed from a member of the junior squad to club captain, will finish a ten-year stay at West Ham. Since making his first-team debut for the Hammers in 2017, he has made 245 appearances, and in his farewell match for the club, he helped West Ham win its first trophy in 47 years by winning the Europa League final.

Arsenal have been busy in the transfer window, as they have already signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea and are eyeing Roman Lavia from Southampton.
