16% VAT On Fuel Passed

16% VAT on fuel has officially been passed by Parliament.

A total of 272 MPs voted on the matter. 184 legislators gave an okay for the clause to be part of the bill while 88 voted against the clause.

Having been passed, the clause now awaits President’s ascension to become a law.

“We have the results on the division that clause 28 be part of the bill. A total of 272 Members of Parliament took their vote.”
