Yanga Announces Nasreddine Nabi Departure As Head coach

Young Africans SC in Tanzania announced yesterday that head coach Nasreddine Nabi will leave the club after asking not to extend his contract.
Nabi, 57, and Yanga won consecutive trebles and advanced to the CAF Confederations Cup final, when they were defeated by USM Alger on away goals. Nabi has reportedly had bids from Saudi Arabia while also being associated with South African powerhouse Kaizer Chiefs.
Pitso Mosimane, the former head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly, has been associated with the club as Yanga has begun the process of finding a new coach to lead the team.
Yanga released a statement confirming the news of Nabi’s leaving the club.
“The leadership of Young Africans Sports Club would like to inform the public that it has reached an agreement to part ways with its coach Nasreddine Nabi after the coach asked not to extend a new contract”
“Coach Nasreddine Nabi’s contract with Young Africans Sports Club has ended at the end of this season. After the end of the contract, the leader of the Young Africans Sports Club met with Coach Nabi for negotiations to sign a new contract. But Nabi asked to leave so that he could have a new challenge.” Read the statement.
