Mohammed Salisu’s Message To Fans Before His Team Was Relegated
South Hampton’s center back Mohamed Salisu has sent an emotional and motivative message to the Saints concerning their relegation from English Premier League after concealing a defeat of 2:0 from Fulham last week.
The Ghanaian soccer defender on his Instagram page, has told the Saints fans that despite him having an injury that made him miss some great season -ending matches, he’s determined to come back stronger.
” As you know, we had high hopes and great aspirations at the beginning of the season, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned.
“We fought hard and gave our all on the field, but we were unable to secure the necessary wins and points to keep us in the league. The disappointment and sadness that we all feel right now are immeasurable” reads part of Salisu’s post.
Salisu whom since February hasn’t been featured in any match with the Saints, is a disappointed star who the injury has had a hurdle on him this season but has assured fans a great fight to ensure the club comes back to EPL.
“We want to assure you that every player and member of our team is determined to come back stronger and better prepared for the next season” Salisu assures teammates and fans.
The Saints who have stayed at EPL for 11 years, their Ghanaian center Salisu despite his assurance of coming back strong, he’s a star on the lookout being hunted by Newcastle at the end of the season.
