COURT ORDER: Guard Who Stole Fuel, Be Caned 12 Strokes


Court has ordered man, 26 to be caned 12 strokes after stealing 4 litres of fuel belonging to his boss.

 

John Bulus a Nigerian security guard according to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), had been employed by complainant, Fidelix Nanzing in his industry at Abuja when the incident happened.

 

It’s noted that after Fidelix having used some fuel and left some, the remaining fuel disappeared which later was found in the hands of Bulus.

 

When appeared before Upper Area Court in Kubwa, Lagos, Bulus admitted having stolen the fuel belonging to his boss.

 

Following the case, judge Garbo Gambo of Upper Area Court in Lagos ordered Bulus to be caned 12 strokes for theft.

 

Bulus, before the court ordered for some canes, requested not to be jailed or fined for pleading for leniency adding that he had no relative around the city who could come for his aid.
