Man Confiscates Dead Body After Learning He Is Not The Father

Residents in Mityana District were left in shock when a man confiscated a dead body after knowing he was not the father of the deceased.

Ssalongo Wasswa Kayongo, a boda boda cyclist together with his colleagues stormed into his in-laws home and took the dead body of a dead twin child. This was after Namata Aisha, the mother of the twins revealed that he was not the father despite his claims of paying all the bills and taking care of the children.

While narrating, Wasswa revealed that he started catering for Namata’s needs the moment she told him that he was responsible for her three months’ pregnancy, paying for her rent until when she gave birth.

When he heard the news of the demise of Babirye, one of the twins, he rushed to collect the dead body for a decent burial at his home but was shocked when he was told he was not the father.

 “The woman told me the twins were not mine and I took it as a man, but from the very first week she spent in hospital, I sent her Ush70,000 for the week spent in the hospital after birth. I want to be compensated from the three months of pregnancy until 15^th November when she gave birth,” Wasswa said, also packing up his mini solar panel that he had bought for Aisha.

Amidst chaos, Wasswa jumped on a motorcycle and vowed to bury the child at his home in Mpigi District until their real father shows up to pay back the money he spent in taking care of them plus a sum of Ush 250,000 to recover his motorcycle that he used as security to secure a loan to cover the hospital bills.
