Ex-boxer Punches Wife To Coma Over Television Remote

Ex- boxer Moses Olapade is reported to have punched his wife several blows after she allegedly refused to give him a television remote.
According to Nigeria’s media outlets, it’s reported that on the day of the incident, Olapade, 56 who works as a truck driver came home in the evening and wanted to change the TV channel to his favorite channel where his wife identified as Tinuke refused to hand over the remote.
Following the hullabaloo, Olapade felt angered and sent some undefendable punches to his wife leaving her in coma.
After Tinuke, 44 experiencing serious fire backs from her ex-boxer husband, media outlets reports that their children sought help from neighbours who came for her rescue by taking her to a nearby local hospital in Oke- Aro Community in Akure, Ondo State.
The Ondo police when addressing the media, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Mrs Funmilayo Odunilami told the press that they had not received reports about the incident but were probing into the matter.
“ I have called the DPO of the Area ( B Division Police Station), but he said the matter was not reported at the police station” Mrs Odunilami told the press.
Now, the ex-boxer is in police custody at Ondo State as investigations deepens into the matter and victim Tinuke receives medication from a nearby local hospital.
