Pastor Ezekiel Calls Out Communications Authority
Embattled Pastor Ezekiel Odero has called out Communications Authority of Kenya(CA) over biased decision.
While speaking of the closure of his Television station,World Evangelism TV, Pastor Ezekiel argues that the decision to close his station without granting him a chance to defend it against accusations levelled amounts to discrimination and extreme unfairness.
In an affidavit presented before court, the man of cloth admits that he has carried out his duty of spreading the word within the required standards and has also provided all the required documents to CA.
‘As an ardent preacher, my tireless efforts are aimed at making the world a better place,’ reads his affidavit.
“Rather than providing me with the requisite avenue to present a comprehensive rebuttal, the Communication Authority of Kenya has unilaterally resorted to the draconian and inequitable measure of suspending the broadcasting license, an action we maintain to be profoundly unjust,” reads his affidavit.
His sentiments come only a day after Mombasa High Court declined to issue an order to have his station back on air.
