Man Found Mysteriously Dead In Lover’s Home
Police in Kamuli District, Eastern Uganda are investigating circumstances under which a man was found dead in his lover’s home in Nakkyaka Zone, Butansi Sub County.
According to police reports, the deceased identified as 45-year-old Mugweri Majid was discovered dead under mysterious circumstances in Naigaga Hadijah’s home who was known to be his lover.
Kasdha Micheal, the Busoga North Police spokesperson revealed that Naigaga reported to have attended a vigil in the neighborhood when the incident happened. When the police arrived at the scene with their sniffer dog, it led them to a home belonging to another man that is rumored to be her other lover.
“We are on ground investigating Mugweri’s death after our sniffer dog led us to the home of a suspected rival lover,” he said.
In her report, Naigaga revealed that she only returned from the vigil to find her lover dead. Residents, however, claim that the deceased was at the same vigil up to 10:00 PM. She was taken as a person of interest because they suspect she could have sneaked back to create an alibi.
