Messi To Play In Saudi Arabia League Next Season
Argentina National Team Captain Lionel Messi will play in the Saudi Arabia league next season under a massive deal.
According to a source who told AFP, On condition of anonymity , Messi will sign the biggest deal even in the Saudi League.
“Messi is a done deal. He will play in Saudi Arabia next season,” said the source.
However, the source did not reveal the specific team the World Cup winner will play for
“The contract is exceptional. It’s huge. We are just finalising some small details,” the source added.
The move just come days after PSG suspended Messi for making unauthorized promotional trip to Saudi Arabia. The Argentine is also Saudi Arabia tourism ambassador.
His current contract with Paris Saint-Germain ends in June 30.
The 35-year-old is expected to arrive in the oil-rich kingdom following footsteps of his arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr in a massive deal in January.
