Devin Booker Shines As Phoenix Suns Defeat Nuggets

In Game 3 of the western conference semifinals series, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Denver Nuggets 121-114 at home thanks to a career-high 47 points from Devin Booker.

 

 

The Phoenix Suns reduced their deficit in the Western Conference semifinals to 2-1 thanks to Booker, who made 20 of 25 field goal attempts and added nine assists, six rebounds, and three steals as he finished the game with 47 points.

 

 

Kevin Durant had a shaky 12-of-31 shooting effort with nine rebounds and eight assists, and he finished with 39 points as the Suns won at home after losing the first two games.

 

 

Speaking after the game, Devin Booker was happy with his performance. “It’s all I know; this is all I dreamed of as a kid,” Booker said. “I’ve dedicated a lot of my life—I moved away from my family when I was young—to pursuing being in these moments.” He said.

 

 

For the top-seeded Denver Nuggets, Jamal Murray had 32 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Nikola Jokic had 30 points, 17 rebounds, and set a playoff career high with 17 assists. Michael Porter Jr. scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while making six 3-pointers in the loss.
