Father Beheads His 9 Month Old Baby

Police are hunting for a father in Hoima District who beheaded his son and fled.
Musana Peter, a resident of Kiryatete West, Hoima District is said to have cut off the head of his 9-months-old baby identified as Ayebare Maurice following a domestic misunderstanding with his wife.
According to the mother of the deceased, Nyakato Maurine, she had gone to work by the time her husband committed the gruesome murder. When she returned, she found her son lying in a pool of blood with Musana not anywhere close to the scene.
Mucwa Godfrey, the village chairperson revealed that the couple were staying in a rented house but on many occasions were reported to be fighting. In one of the recent fights, neighbors claim that Nyakato told Musana he was not the father of their baby. It is said that the suspect had earlier threatened to kill both the mother and child.
Mutanzige police spokesperson Hakiza Alan Julius revealed that the search for Musana had been launched and encouraged any persons with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
