University Of Eldoret Student Kills Girlfriend In Suspected Love Triangle
A student from the University of Eldoret has stabbed his girlfriend to death in a suspected love Triangle.
The student Identified as Elikana Korir, a third year student, is said to have stabbed her in a hostel near the institution which is located on the outskirts of Eldoret Town In Uasin Ngishu County.
DCI officers are investigating the incident which happened in the hostel used by the female student.
Elikana Kiplagat Korir would later attempt to commit suicide by stabbing himself in the chest but was rescued and taken to hospital.
Henry Zuma, the Soy Sub County police commander said the suspect, was in critical condition, and was rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital by the hostel owner for treatment while in a critical condition.
“Our officers visited the scene and removed the body. Investigations are ongoing,” Zuma said.
