Thomas Partey Urges His Teammates To Give It Their All
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has urged his side not to keep their heads down ahead of the Manchester City clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Having gone winless in their last three games, Arsenal find themselves in a very difficult position as they try to maintain the lead at the top.
They now face a must-win game against defending champions Manchester City on Wednesday evening. Arsenal are sweating over the fitness of William Saliba and Granit Xhaka, who both missed their last game against Southampton.
Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has urged his side not to lose concentration against Manchester City. “I think everything depends on us; we have to go [to City] with the mentality to play football and play the plays we know.
At the end, we have to try and win,” he said before the game. We cannot put our heads down because now is not the time to drop our heads. We have to keep on fighting; we have to keep on pushing, and in the end we will get better results.” He said.
Arsenal still leads the standings with 75 points after 32 games, while Manchester City are following closely with 70 points from 30 games played.
