Home » Pastor Cons American Coupl In Spiritual Cleansing

An American investor together with his wife have run to police to report a Ugandan pastor for robbing and conning them of millions of money in what he claimed to be spiritual cleansing.

Bishop Dr. Hans Juergen and his wife moved to Uganda in 2022 and registered Henosis Apostolic Church Ministries International, a Non-Government Organization with an aim of investing in projects that were meant to help street children and single mothers earn an income.

It was then that they reconnected with Barbra Kansiime, an old friend they had met while in the USA. She linked them with Denis Ssenyonga of God’s Holy Church International Ministries and on their first meeting; they were impressed by the pastor who told them their main reason for visiting the country not knowing he had connived with Kansiime to rob them.

During the prophecy, Ssenyonga threatened the couple that they needed spiritual cleansing from the spirit of death that was to consume the wife. With this, they had to pay him money to help with the process.

“They said it was blood money and it needed to be offered to God in cash. They did this to get us into a mindset that the sacrifice was needed,” Bishop Hans said.

The moment they handed over the Ush 500 million, the pastor threatened them into leaving the country on claims that they no longer had God’s protection. The couple left behind their two cars, expensive furniture worth UGX 70 million, which were possessed by the pastor.

Ssenyonga did not stop at that but pursued them to the USA where they had run to, telling them that the wife’s sister had the same curse and needed deliverance. This prompted them to fly back to Uganda and arrest the pastor after realizing they had been scammed.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed the police report and revealed that the pastor had been released on bail and some of the items were confiscated by the police.

“We pray for justice to prevail and in case there are officials there who truly love justice and want to do the right thing contrary to money, to help us,” Bishop Hans revealed.
