Gor Mahia, Tusker FC Now FKF Premier League Active Title Contenders

FKF reigning champions Tusker has continued in the second week running to pile pressure on league leaders Gor Mahia in a  bid to dislodge them from the top of the table and defend their title.

 

Kogalo is far yet from succumbing to the brewer chase. This is after Gor Mahia won their tightly contested match against Kariobangi Sharks to sustain their stay at top of the league with 49points from 23 matches.

 

 

Tusker also won its match against Sofapaka to keep the gap between them at four points, although the brewers have a game in hand.

 

 

Elsewehere, Police FC settled for a barren draw with AFC Leopards at Nyayo National Stadium.

 

 

Gor Mahia who dropped points against Sofapaka in midweek returned to winning ways overcoming a youthful Kariobangi Sharks 2-0 at MISC Kasarani.

 

 

Bandari’s resurgence continued with a 1-0 away win over Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu stadium

 

 

After dishing away free points on Wednesdays to Nzoia Sugar, Struggling Vihiga Bullets registered their second win of the season after beating Mathare united 1-0.

 

 

Nzoia could only manage a draw against Bidco at the Sudi Stadium, their fifth draw in just over a month.
