Yesu Wa Tongaren Claims His Easter Celebration Falls In July
The self-proclaimed ‘Yesu Wa Tongaren’, Born Eliud Wekesa Simiyu from Bungoma County, has now downplayed a call by a group of people pushing for his crucifixion during Good Friday. Instead, Wekesa says his time will come in July.
While speaking on Friday at his Kakamega residence, Yesu Wa Tongaren dismissed the calls to have him crucified just like Jesus in the Bible.
According to him, It’s not yet Easter holiday. He claims his Easter celebrations normally happen in July and not April.
Nimewaonya wafuasi wangu kulingana na hii Pasaka” he said
His assertions came after a section of youths arrived at his home with a wooden cross and nails, ready to crucify him.
He said he was forced to use the Bible teachings to tell them off and admonish them for what he termed as blasphemy.
