Six Migori MCAs De-whipped For Hosting President William Ruto
Six Migori County Mcas have been de-whipped from various county assembly committees for allegedly hosting President William Ruto when he visited the county late last month against the party Wishes.
ODM in communication to the assembly asked for their immediate suspension from the Committee. Among the affected are North Kadem ward representative Olima Obonyo who has been ousted as chairman of the County’s Water and Energy Committee and replaced by Brian Osodo, the MCA of Kachieng ward.
Others are East Kanyamkago MCA Norman Ogolla who has been replaced as the chairperson in the Committee of Early Childhood and Vocational Training by Central Sakwa MCA Esther Migose,West Kanyamkago MCA Peter Mijungu who has been replaced by Wasweta II MCA Erickson Omondi in the county’s Justice and Legal Affairs Committee.
Central Kanyamkago MCA Eunice Odi and her North Kamagambo counterpart Collins Osewe who has also been ousted from Migori County Assembly’s speaker panel.
