Home » Gachagua Slams Media For Being Biased

Kenya’s second in command Rigathi Gachagua has come out to tell off the media for their increased biasness on news coverage.

The DP noted how some pieces of news were getting more coverage compared to others which get less to no coverage.

“When something for one single ordinary rich person is touched, you are all over the place.”

He urged the media to cover news for both the rich and the poor and not concentrate only  on the rich.

“We want to see fairness between the rich and poor. Take time and tell us the story of the destroyed church in Kibra, the supermarket whose goods worth Ksh. 20B were looted. Go and interview people who have lost business because of Raila Odinga and tell the story. Don’t be one sided.” – DP Gachagua added

This is not the first time the DP is accusing the media of biased news coverage. He has formerly been on record accusing the media of misquoting him and supporting Azimio during electioneering period.

“From morning to evening, you’re inviting members of Azimio camp to discuss various political issues in the most unbalanced of manner. We have able Kenya Kwanza foot soldiers who can come and battle it out with our competitors in the shows but you chose not to invite us,” Gachagua said.
