Suspect Linked To Killing Of Eldoret 12- Year -Old Boy Dies
Eric Kiptoo Kipsang, 25-years-old linked to the death of a boy, 10-12 years died on Sunday morning at Eldoret hospital.
On 23rd March, the suspect was tracked by Koilel residents in Ainabkoi Constituency after killing and dumping the young boy at at Koilel area.
According to Kapsoya area chief Edwin Kibor, Eric killed the young boy in his house and picked his father’s car which he used to go and dump the body by the road side at Koilel area.

However, upon the probe by the residents, the vehicle was traced at Kao la Amani village in Eldoret where Eric’s family admitted that he had picked his father’s vehicle without giving a notice.
Following the incident, Ainabkoi police started hunting for the suspect who had ran into hideout as the vehicle taken to Ainabkoi police station.
But during police hunt, it is alleged the suspect later on was found in an attempt to commit suicide near a dam as reported by the family but when rushed to the hospital in Eldoret, efforts to save his life bore not fruits as he died on Sunday.
“The suspect was received by the police with deep cuts on both hands. Blood stained clothes were recovered in the house which was the murder scene. A pillow full of blood was found and a basin also had some blood. The family claims that the man had some mental problems,” Ainabkoi OCPD Alois Muthoka said.
The mother of the killed boy Linda Jemutai after receiving report about her son’s death, she’s requesting for justice as Eldoret East DCI probe into the murder case.
