I’m Not Detained In Hospital, Nuru Okanga Clears The Air
Raila Odinga’s supporter, Nuru Okanga, went to hospital on Tuesday following the Monday’s protest that left him in feeling unwell.
According to Okanga, Raila’s ardent follower, he went to Hospital on Tuesday as he was not feeling well and was diagnosed with Malaria and is currently recovering at home.
He accused officers of targeting him during the Monday anti-government protest as they deliberately threw teargas canisters to his direction.
“Police officers were targeting me, they were throwing teargas canisters in my direction, they wanted to arrest me”
He has disputed rumours of being detained in a Kayole hospital for failing to pay hospital bill amounting to Ksh 6,350 terming the rumour as one being peddled by anti-Azimio individuals who wanted to portray him and other demonstrators as sufferers.
