Former NTV News Anchor Jane Ngoiri Lands A New Role In Government
Jane Ngoiri, former NTV swahili news anchor was on 6th March appointment as a member of HIV & AIDs Tribunal by the government.
Ms Ngoiri who left NTV in January, 2021 after working for over a decade, was appointed to the tribunal among other five; Brian Ouko, Prof. Walter Godfrey, Nelson Wanyonyi Osiemo, Dr. Solomon Musani and Dr. Irene Njahira Mukui.
In a Gazette notice dated 6th March 2023 by Attorney General, Justin Muturi, the revered media guru will serve under Ms Carolyne Mboku the chairperson of the tribunal.
The HIV & AIDS Tribunal established under section 25 of the HIV & AIDS Prevention & Control Act, is judicial body mandated to listen and assess complaints arising from the breach of the Act’s guidelines, rules and regulations by officials and the public.
The social and experienced media personel will now work with the team to foster equity, human rights adherence and promotion of social cultural values of the tribunal act.
