Radio 47 is undoubtedly gaining followers  even before its launch. The station which has been the talk of  town in the recent past owing to the celebrated media personalities porched to work for it, has seen fans waiting with baited breath to see it launch and hence beginning of its operation.

 

To the delight of fans, the TV 47 sister station , led by Mount Kenya University (MKU) chairman and founder, Prof Simon Gicharu, is making final preparations ahead of its official launch on  Monday 13th March,2023.

 

It is after then that the enthusiastic fans will get to listen to their favorite Presenters that they have missed on air for a while now.

 

Programme Line-up

According to a reliable source, the new station brings to its listeners entertaining and captivating shows featuring experienced and comical presenters who will brighten the days of listeners.

 

This is how their programmes are scheduled:

 

Gospel Dawn shows

Celebrated Galilaya Declaration presenter Evah Mwalili will have two hours to air the Gospel dawn show to uplift the spirits of listeners before starting off their days.

 

Breakfast Show

 

Former Radio Maisha Asubuhi host Emmanuel Mwashumbe will uptake the morning breakfast show alongside Mkamburi from 6a.m-10a.m

 

Afternoon show

 

Former Ktn Journalist Mwanaisha Chizudga, will  host a show from 10 am to 1 pm with catchy segments such as Mheshimiwa’s Corner, Mwanamke Mambo, Mautamu Tamu, Msemo wa Leso.

 

Evening Drive show

The show dubbed Maskani will feature the “Umbea” duo Billy Miya and Mbaruk Mwalimu and will run from  3p.m to 7p.m

 

Night show

The show named Chemba will be hosted by Dr. Ofweneke from 8 p.m to 11.p.m

 

Saturday Bahari Ya Elimu

Celebrated Swahili Guru Hassan Mwana Wa Ali will host the show from 7a.m- 11 a.m
