Kirinyaga Man Kills Girlfriend,Buries Her Under The Bed
Police in Kirinyaga County are hunting for a man who killed his girlfriend and buried her secretly in a shallow grave inside their house in Thiba North Village.
Mwea-west Sub-county Deputy Police Commander Sammy Beauttah confirmed the incident and said that the Body of the deceased was found few days after the Incident.
“The matter was reported by the family members at Kiamaciri police station and after visiting the house we found the victim’s body.Joyce Nginya was buried in a shallow grave and that was when we started the process of exhuming the body after a court order from Baricho law court,” said Beauttah
According to the deceased’s sister Jane Njeru, they were informed of her missing by the children of the deceased who claimed that their mother had gone missing on Sunday.
“I was called today morning by my sister’s children who told me that their mother was missing and I was shocked to see her body buried in a shallow grave under her bed and that’s when I informed the police officers,” Jane said.
The sister further says that her sister had been selling miraa at Thiba shopping centre and she didn’t as well have any knowledge of the said killer suspect.
The body of the deceased was taken to Kerugoya hospital mortuary as a search for the suspect continues.
