Youtuber Lynn Ngugi Feted For Her Gender Justice Campaigns

YouTube content creator Lynn Ngugi was on Tuesday 28th Feb 2023 feted for her Gender Justice campaign and championship.

Lynn was awarded by women’s rights Group  Echo Network Africa (ENA) during the launch of  ”Stop Cyberbullies Now”campaign

She was warded for  her outstanding Youtube stories which  advocates for an end to bullying and women’s rights.

“I want to say thank you so much for this award. But I also want to recognize the fact that if it were not you, then I wouldn’t be standing here.You are the people who once I put the content out there, you are the people who are commenting, demanding, challenging and supporting,”  said Lynn

Lynn thanked the women group for recognizing  her efforts  and was truly  honoured to receive such an award.

“I want to dedicate it to all the women who are here who are confident in using their voices. And I believe that every time a woman stands up to speak, she represents our generations. So thank you so much for this.”

Lynn has been using her Youtube and other social media platforms to cover a wide range of human interest stories mostly related to women affairs.

Among her most popular stories was on Ebby, a high school student who died after sustaining injuries allegedly inflicted while she was at school.

The story resulted in the trending of the hashtag #JUSTICEFOREBBY where Kenyans called for those responsible to be held accountable.
