Archaeologist have discovered a 2000 year- old Wooden tool believed to be a dildo.

The wooded tool which is smooth at both ends and closely resembles a human penis, was discovered in 1992 at Vindolanda, South of Handrian’s Wall, Roman Fort.

At the period of discovery, the tool was among other artefacts named as darning tool and was never thought to been in relation to the current sex toy.

Dr. Collins a senior lecturer at Newcastle University and Dr. Rob Sands from the University College Dublin say, the look at the 6.5 inch tool raised a new question in their heads relating it to a sex toy.

The question we found ourselves asking is what sort of object shaped like a phallus would have greater wear at both ends then in the middle? One possible answer, a dildo?” Dr. Collins thought.

Phallic imagery during the ancient times were used by the Romans to prevent bad luck but in millennial society, the wooden imagery has been claimed to have been used by the Romans to have self sex.

And also if it is a sexual implement, it is nice to think that. Maybe there are people who were having fun here on the frontier and it’s not dangerous or boredom while on patrol” added Dr. Collins.

In Art and Literature, it’s revealed the ancient Romans used dildos but a real life example to prove has not been found by the researchers and scientists.

In the journal, Antiquity wrote by Dr. Collins, phallus were used as pestles and protection from bad luck.

However, due to its smooth appearance and feel of the discovered wooden tool, the archaeologists have claimed that it’s a wooded dildo used by the ancient Romans.

In a millennial society, dildos are used by women for self sex and have never been thought to have existed during the ancient times.
