AFC Leopards Seeks Services Of External Auditor For Its Financial Records

Kenyan Premier League Club AFC Leopards is calling on suitable audit firm to help in keeping its financial records for financial year starting January 2022.
”AFC Leopards Sports Club seeks the services of an audit firm with appropriate knowledge, skills, experience, and competence to audit its financial records for financial year starting January 2022 renewable annually subject to approval by the National Executive Committee” Reads a statement by AFC Leopards
The club says the objective of the external audit is to express a professional audit opinion in accordance with International Standards on Auditing on whether the organizational financial statements of AFC Leopards, in all material respects, are in conformity with the applicable International Financial Reporting Standards.
”The external auditor shall be expected to maintain independence from the Club throughout the contracting period ensuring their integrity, objectivity and professionalism is not compromised”added the club
The 13 times Kenyan premier league champions noted that the bidding firms should be registered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and must hold a current Practicing Certificate and Should demonstrate that it has the capacity, capability and experience required to undertake the audit within required time lines
