Drama Ensued After Police Denied Mourners Entry At Prof. Magoha’s Home
Drama was witnessed at the home of late Prof George Magoha’s home in Yala, Gem Constituency in siaya County after mourners who were escorting his body clashed with police for denying them access to the compound.
Tens of hundreds of mourners who escorted Magoha’s body to his Umiru home forced their way while throwing stones at the police officers who were manning the gate. Police later contained the mourners and they calmed down.
Prof Magoha’s body was airlifted with military chopper to Yala Township Primary and received by Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo among other leaders and family members.
The former education CS will be buried on Saturday After a funeral mass at Odera Akang’o University College.
