Bright Bungoma Girl Anisa Yusuf, 319 Marks To Miss Form 1 For Lacking School Fees
Anisa Yusuf a Bungoma girl is requesting for well-wishers to help her join form 1.
The daughter of a single mother was called to join Cardinal Otunga Girls High School in Bungoma County but her dream of joining high school is on the verge of its death.
Having done her 2022 KCPE and getting 319 marks from Moi Primary School, the girl’s dreams of becoming a surgeon so as to help her struggling mother.
“I got 319 marks but not yet joined form 1 due to lack of fees. My mom is needy and so is my father.”
“I really urge well wishers to come for my aid so that I may join form 1. I promise that I’ll do well, get an A and pursue medicine – surgery. I look forward to help my mum” Anisa requests.
Ms. Stella Saida Yusuf a single mother say, her daughter passed her exam well but she’s on the verge of missing form 1 due to lack of school fees.
Speaking exclusively on Billy O’clock, Saida added that she has tried seeking for help from the county scholarship under Governor Kenneth Lusaka but her efforts bore no fruits.
“Nilienda kwa gavana nikaomba msaada apate scholarship lakini nikaambiwa marks yake ni kidogo.
“Nikaenda kwa MCA wetu nikajaribu lakini nikaambiwa nisubirie bursary. Sijui hata kama nitapata.
“Mimi hujaribu kazi ndogo ndogo tu hapa town kuuza mboga lakini soko ni ngumu. Kile napata, ndicho kinatulisha.” Stella narrates.
Stella further says, her grandson Ivan Kutosi a form 2 student at Teremi High is now at home due to lack of fees.
Ivan scored 365 marks and got selected under former Governor Wangamati Scholarship but during the reign of Governor Lusaka, the boy was removed from the scholarship without reason.
“Sahisi niko na watoto wawili hapa. Macho yote kwangu. Kitinda mimba wangu Anisa na mjukuu wangu Ivan.
Mama yake Ivan hukaa kule mjini kwa steji kama makanga lakini pesa hakuna.
“Ivan alitolewa kwa scholarship ya aliyekuwa gavana Wangamati. Akienda shule anarejeshwa. Niko naye hapa tunaangaliana tu.
“Sina mbele wala nyuma. Sijui nifanye nini mtoto wangu na mjukuu wasome. Ninaomba wasamaria wema wanisaidie” desolate Stella narrates.
