Jubilee Party Suspends Kioni, Murathe Over Gross Misconduct
Jubilee party has suspended Secretary General, Jermiah Kioni and National Vice Chairperson David Murathe on grounds of gross misconduct.
The party arrived at the decision after holding a national executive committee meeting at a hotel in Nakuru County on Friday 10th 2023.
Also suspended is the national treasurer Kagwe Gichohi.
To that effect, the NEC appoints EALA MP Kanini Kega as the acting Secretary General, Rachel Nyamai as acting National treasurer and Wajir West Adan Keynan as acting national Vice chairpeson.
Jubilee NEC also resolve to kick start the process of exiting the Azimio La umoja coalition and engage with the ruling coalition on a possibility of working cooperation arrangement.
The NEC has also resolved to initiate a disciplinary action against them and have forwarded their case to the Internal Dispute Resolution Mechanism which will precipitate their kicking out of the political outfit in accordance to the party’s constitution.
“That the Internal Dispute Resolution Mechanism be convened immediately to consider the matters of the suspended officials,” the NEC resolved.
