Google CEO Sundar Pichai has announced the introduction of a new feature that automatically blurs explicit content on Google search for safety use of Google clients.

The information which has been published on Google website highlights that nude images, pornography contents and contents that show blood will be automatically blurred by the new feature.

This will protect people who are phobic to such content not to be emotionally attacked such as hemophobic individuals, ones that fear blood.

However, Mr. Pichai say, also personal security will be secure because a biometric authentication feature will also be added.

Blurring explicit results images by default will protect under 18 years Google users from consuming explicit content on media.

Users however will be required to set their google search accounts for safe search and avoiding unnecessary ads to pop up. When not set, explicit content will appear but the feature will later blur it automatically.

“When Safe Search is off, you’ll see the most relevant results for your search, which may include explicit content like images of violence,” Google’s post reads.

Further, a biometric authentication feature to one’s passwords saved on Google will also be added.

Users will have to confirm their identity before filling in the saved password and log in to the account they want to.

The password manager will allow users to reveal, copy or edit his/her saved password in chrome without entering passwords repeatedly.

Even though the feature exits, it’s being advanced to only let the user have access to password verification codes. With biometric authentication, no other person will be able to access the user’s sensitive password information.
