FKF Suspends Two Mathare United Players Over Match Fixing Claims

Football Kenya Federation FKF has commenced investigation into allegation of match fixing against two KPL league players, from Matahre united.

 

The players; Lenox Ogutu who plays as defender and midfielder Alphonce Ndonye who doubles up at the slum boys have been accused of involving in match manipulation practices in a Kenya premier league game.

 

‘’In effort to protect  integrity of the game during this investigation period, we wish to inform you we have regrettably suspended both Mr Ogutu and Mr Ndonye from all football activities until the matter is concluded. As players registered with your club, inform Mr Ogutu and Mr Ndonye of the suspension’’ Read a letter FKF to Mathare united club

 

In a letter dated 6th Feb 2023, FKF head of integrity department Mr Micheal Kamure also asked Mathare united to furnish them with the daily email and contact addresses of the said players for further sanctioning.
