Why BBC Studios Were Closed And Staffs Evacuated
BBC staffs were today in the morning forced to evacuate from newsroom after fire alarm set off.
The journalists who were preparing to go on air to host a morning show, suddenly evacuated the room by which the media programs came into normalcy at 1pm.
The BBC North East and Cumbria journalists had set themselves to host their breakfast show when the alarm of evacuation was raised.
In a statement posted on BBC’s official Twitter account, the statement reported apologies to Look North viewers as the they assured them of return after safety installation.
“Apologies to our Look North viewers. The fire alarm went off just before our last breakfast bulletin which meant we had to evacuate the building.”
However, at 1:30pm, the news team came on air for lunchtime program, Look North.
