Prof. Magoha’s Body To Pass Through UoN, KNEC Offices Ahead Of Burial
Former Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha will be laid to rest at his home in Umiru Nyamninia, Yala, Gem Constituency on February 11, 2023.
According to former Education Ps, Dr Julius Jwan, the Family and Funeral Planning Committee Spokesperson, the funeral mass will take place on February 11 at Odera Akang’o University campus in Yala.
Dr Jwan said a series of solemn funeral events before Internment, have been planned to celebrate the life of the late former University of Nairobi University Vice Chancellor.
On February 8, a farewell caravan will proceed from Lee Funeral Home, passing through significant places in Magoha’s life including the College of Health Sciences at the University of Nairobi and the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) Offices.
On February 9, a requiem mass will be held at the Consolata Shrine, Westlands, and on February 10, a procession and holy mass will take place at Township Primary School and St Mary’s Secondary School in Yala.
