Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) on Thursday, 26th 2023 graced the COVID-19 and Digital Employability graduation ceremony at African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI).

 

The training which aimed at promoting women domination in digital creative space and employability, saw at least 2,832 young women graduating.

 

KFCB under the theme; ‘Young Women For the Digital Economy’, incalculably leverages the digital space for women to help them create and monetize their creative works.

 

On Wednesday, 25th, Jan 2023, Ms. Nelly Muluka KFCB’s Corporate Communications Manager, led a masculinity event at Nairobi Film Center which Mr. Bruce Matheka was crowned to represent Kenya in the 5th Edition of the beauty pageant to be held in Philippines, in April 2023.

 

Ms. Muluka disclosed that the core function of KFCB is to promote the art of the youth in creative art and improve their living standards through their content.

 

” The event seeks to create a platform for youths to promote and showcase their talents with the goal of strengthening Kenya’s global fashion industry that contributes to the realization of Vision 2030 Economic Pillar, the Manufacturing Pillar of the Big Four Agenda” Ms Muluka said.

 

She further reiterated that the Board’s focus and determination is to partner with creatives and like-minded public and private institutions in a bid to spur the growth of the industry for job and wealth creation.
