Raila’s long awaited speech finally came with a live charged crowd ready to receive it on the Kamukunji ground as earlier planned. Raila who left the country for South Africa jetted back into the Country today and met his ardent supporters at the Kamukunji Grounds and delivered his speech to them.

The speech  had four main parts.

The first part was directed to Former IEBC Chairman Wafula chebukati who Hon. Raila Odinga says together with Commissioners Boya Molu, Abdi Guliye and C.E.O Hussein Marjan came out to give results that did not reflect the will of the people of Kenya excluding the four new and dissenting commissioners.

The second part was about an IEBC whistleblower who he says helped them discover that their victory was stolen. According to Hon. Raila, they had a comfortable win in the coastal, Western, North and lower Eastern and Nairobi regions while the current President His Excellency William Ruto only beat him in the Rift Valley region. He further claims that he got many votes in Mt. Kenya like never before.

The third part was directed to the supreme Court which Hon. Raila describes as a compromised court captured by same cartels who captured IEBC.

The ODM leader then went on to state His clarion call which are as follows:

  • Totally rejecting 2022 results  and not considering the Kenya Kwanza regime
  • Not recognizing His Excellency William Ruto as Kenya’s President together with any official with him in office
  • Demand IEBC records of 2022 election be made public and audited by an impartial body.
  • Attempt to reconstitute the IEBC by President Ruto singlehandedly be stopped.
  • Reject empty promises and UDA policies.
  • Resist punitive taxes leading to high cost of living.
  • Want the Kenya Kwanza Government to resign as it has no mandate or ability to govern.
  • Ask our people to say no to UDA regime.
