Top Student Whose Father Was Beheaded To Study For Free
Gitumi Mwithi a top student who had his father beheaded over ancestral piece of land conflict will study for four years at Starehe Boys Center without paying a single cent.
Mr Fred Okono, Starehe Boys Centre director, In a press statement on Thursday said the school administration had received the sad news and will take the responsibility to ensure that Gitumi Mwithi who scored 400 marks in the last Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) goes through the four-year education without paying any penny.
He further stated that the admission letter doesn’t have to be picked on Thursday 19, 2023 as earlier communicated as the vacancy remains safe until the family settles.
“He is a very bright boy, and his vacancy is safe. He will be admitted at Starehe Boys’ Centre and will go through his education without any problem,” said Mr Okono.
