Kalonzo Advices President Ruto Concerning Helb Loan

Days after President William Ruto talked about merging HELB loan with National Skill and Funding Council (NSFC), Wiper leader Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka has advised the president not to interfere with HELB loan.
Speaking on Sunday, 15th, 2023 at City of Refuge Church in Kamenu Ward, Kiambu County to congregants and Kiambu University and College Students (KUSCA), Hon. Kalonzo said that interfering with HELB loan prompts to the suffering of students, who mostly depend on it for both fees and basic needs.
” The new body will double the current HELB funds from KES 11 Billion to KES 22 Billion ” President William Ruto said on Jan 3rd, 2023.
As the case, Hon. Kalonzo advised President William Ruto not to interfere with the Higher Education Loans Board ( HELB) operations citing immense dependency by students who have benefited from it.
Accompanied by Embakasi South MP Hon. Julius Mawathe and Members Of County Assembly from both host county and Machakosi County, he also cited on a mission to rescue the country from governance oblivion.
