Evelyn Wanjiru Shares Hilarious Encounters With Agunda On Their First Meet-up Before Marriage
Evelyn Wanjiru revealed that she unloved Agunda after he ignored her in church/ courtesy.
Evelyn Wanjiru, Kenya’s celebrated artiste, shared her hilarious encounters with Agunda Bweni on their first meet-up and date before marriage.
Speaking to Oga Obinna, the artiste revealed that she was flabbergasted and joyously fell in love the first time she saw her husband, Agunda Bweni. She said he was super tall, dark, handsome and composed.
Wanjiru narrated that when she later met Agunda in church, and sat next to him, he failed to turn to her when the pastor told the congregation to greet their neighbours.

” Pastor akasema, turn to your neighbour and tell your neighbour God loves you. Nikasema Yesu, this is the opportunity and hour. Nangoja jamaa a-turn, jamaa ali-turn? Haku-turn. Alini-bore. Huyo mwanaume alini-bore na hapo hapo nikam-dump na hata hajui ninam-like. Nika-cancel crush. Nikaanza kujiambia maybe ameolewa.
“Manze lakini alikuwa tall, dark and handsome…nilikuwa nasikia eeish huyu mwanaume…nilimcrushia for 8 months na hawezi kuniongelesha…sijui kama alikuwa anajua au hakutaka kuniongelesha…” She expressed.
Eight months later, Wanjiru revived her secret love for Agunda after they bumped into each other at the church, called her by her name and asked her for a private meet-up.

“Nobody had ever called me by my name apart from him. Manze dental yake. Mimi sikuona kitu kingine, niliona tu meno yake, na nikasema ghai! Mungu unaweza ukaumba mtu hivi! …Kwa sababu alini-call jina langu feelings zangu zikarudi back. Nikamforgive.” She added.
The Waweza hitmaker shared that on their first date, she declined Agunda’s desire to hold her in public as they walked down to a restaurant to talk since she was a church girl.
“My friend, nikapelekwa out na jamaa eti ananishika mkono kama vile wanaume wa Nairobi vile hushika wasichana mkono, nikamwambia wewe mimi nimeokoka, usinishike mkono. “ She hilariously shared.
Despite their hilarious encounters, she stated that Agunda was purposeful and knew what he wanted in life, ‘a wife and not a girlfriend.’
