KRG The Don Says He’s Never Seen a Rich Musician In Kenya
KRG The Don claimed music doesn't have money/ courtesy.
Stephen Karuga Kimani, popularly known as KRG The Don, has revealed why he stopped slamming his critics on social media.
The flamboyant musician revealed that social media arguments made him more enemies, which he never expected.
KRG The Don said since he stopped making noise on social media, his life changed and he focused on his businesses and other things to generate more wealth.

“Hii game yetu ya Kenya iko chini halafu pia ninaangalia time na kila mtu anaangalia maisha yangu…ndiyo maana nimetulia. Nikianza kupiga kelele ninatumia nguvu nyingi…na nikianza kelele, nakuwa na vita na watu wengi kama mia… so, why waste my energy on them rather than my business?” He posed.
The Mambo Imechemka hitmaker also said if it were not for his love for music, he couldn’t have been a musician. He argued that music doesn’t pay in Kenya.
“Mimi sijawahi kuona mwanamziki tajiri Kenya…na utajiri ninaosema si wa kununua gari na nyumba. Utajiri nionaosema ni wealth ambayo utaachia watoto wako. Watoto ukiwaachia nyumba na gari na gari watafanyia nini? “ He argued.

“You cannot make generational wealth from the music industry. If you tell me to do music for fun I will do it but don’t tell me to do music or make noise as business. There’s no business called noisemaking.” He added.
However, he clarified that most artists in Kenya only brag about their vehicles but not wealth. He argued that he was focused on creating generational wealth for his family.
The singer emphasized that in 2027, he would be vying for the Member of Parliament seat in one constituency but he didn’t reveal it.
