Comedian Henry DeSagu Testifies He’s Healed from Depression

DeSagu revealed that stress led him into alcohol and depression/ courtesy.
Comedian Henry DeSagu made his public appearance in church on Sunday after struggling with depression.
In the viral clip shared online, the comedian was filmed at JCM church, testifying before the congregation of worshippers that depression had taken a toll on him, but he had been healed.
DeSagu testified that the healing journey couldn’t have been easy without the support of Mofarm, Bishop Kiengei’s close friend, and Kenyans.

“Thank God for healing me, and I appreciate Bishop Ben Guka wa Nairobi Muthee Kiengei for the prayers. Thanks to Mofarm JM for walking with me through this journey. I appreciate everyone for their great support,” DeSagu shared.
The celebrated King of Mwihoko revealed that stress made him turn to alcohol, but after rehab treatment at Mathari Hospital, he was healed and is now fairing well with life.
“Mimi ndo naitwa DeSagu, na huko kwa social media ni mimi huwa nawaambia umbwedede lakini maisha ilikuwa imenipeleka mbio nikakuwa mimi ndio nikakuwa hiyo umbwedede. Nilikuwa nimegonjeka mambo ya stress kufikiria sana mpaka nikashikwa na depression na nikaingia kwa pombe lakini Mungu ni mzuri ameniponya.” He testified in church on Sunday.

Before prayer, Bishop Kiengei shared that the comedian would receive support until his comedy talent is revived.
DeSagu had battled with depression after alcohol addiction until his friend shared his film on social media. Kenyans, in conjunction with lawmaker Elijah Njoroge popularly known as Mofarm, helped and secured rehab treatment at Mathari Hospital.
