Savara Lauds Bien After Trace Awards, Comments Why Kenya Produced One Artiste For Competition

Savara, a Kenyan artiste has lauded Bien Aime Baraza for a superfluous win after the Trace Awards.
In an exclusive talk with Mzazi Willy M Tuva, a member of the Sauti Sol band stated that Bien did exemplary work at the Trace Awards to bag the Best Artist-Eastern Africa.
Savara added that the winning of Bien is a motivation for rising Kenyan artists and those in the limelight to go for international competitions.

“Bien alifanya kazi na hiyo ni kitu inaonyesha ya kwamba kazi inafanyika na sai tuko na people who are representing us globally, Sauti Sol ilirepresent, Bien ndio huyu anarepresent Savara pia anarepresent. I feel like it is a good representation na ni motisha kwa wasani wengine pia wajipush globally,” Savara said.
The Sianda hitmaker added that although Kenya is still growing in the entertainment industry, he, Nyanshinski and Bien have made a name globally, and they’re still pushing for more recognition.
“We are still not there in terms of global sound only a few of us are a global kind of push, Savara is doing a global push, Bien is doing a global push and there are other few musicians, Nyanshinski is doing it so it is a matter of time,” he added.

Bien received accolades across East Africa after he won the Trace Awards in Zanzibar. Kenyans and Tanzanians ranked him as the best artiste in live performance. A section of Tanzanians joked that Bongo Flava artists should get lectures from him.
After the award, the Kenya artiste appreciated all his fans on social media for their warm and genuine support. He explained that their support boosted his morale to deliver the best music that melted their hearts.
