Rayvanny: Wizkid Advised Me on How to Exit Wasafi Label

Raymond Mwakyusa, popularly known as Rayvanny shared how he left WCB- Wasafi Label in 2022. In an exclusive talk on the Afrobeats Podcast, the singer said Nigerian artiste Wizkid, played a bigger role in his exit.

Rayvanny explained that Wizkid advised him to exit WCB-Wasafi Label in peace. He said a peaceful exit makes one live happily with his mentors and helpers.

The Next Music Level founder added that Wizkid told him to build himself because he was super talented.

“You don’t have to say anything negative to people who support you. They may help you in the future. It’s unnecessary to fight and quarrel with people because you have to believe in your talent and better yourself.” Rayvanny shared.

During the interview, Rayvanny shared that before he left Diamond Platnumz’s music label, Platnumz advised him to work on his music vocals and keys.

The singer said the honest critic helped him perfect his music career and made his songs hits. “Diamond was the first person to tell me that I’m a good singer and criticized my singing key. He said the key wouldn’t take me to any place. When I took heed of his advice, every song became nice.” Rayvanny revealed.

Rayvanny left Diamond Platnumz’s music in July 2022 after working with him for almost six years. After he left WCB- Wasafi, founded his label called the Next Music Label.

Wizkid on the other hand, used to sing under Empire Mates Entertainment and left in 2012 after four years of service and founded Starboy Entertainment.
