Master J Lauds Willy Paul Over Effective Use of Diamond Platnumz’s Name To Shine In Tanzania
Master J, Tanzania’s legendary music producer has lauded Willy Paul for effectively chasing clout with Diamond Platnumz’s name to shine in Tanzania.
In an exclusive interview with Clouds FM, the music producer highlighted that Willy Paul utilized the Furaha City Festival well by using Platnumz’s name until some Tanzanians knew him for the first time.
Master J explained that some Tanzanians had never heard Willy Paul’s music or name, but when the Kenyan artiste chased clout using the WCB-Wasafi founder’s name, he earned a fan base across East Africa.

According to Master J, even some Tanzanians who were yet to know Willy Paul looked for the songs of the artiste, making him more famous in the Bongo Flava music arena.
“Ninampongeza sana Willy Paul kwa kutumia platform vizuri. Kiki aliyoitengeneza Furaha City Festival ilifanya hadi mpaka wa leo tunamzungumzia.
“Kitu alichokifanya kilienda mjini kwa sababu awali, ilikuwa hata wimbo wake mmoja ukimuuliza Mtanzania hangekwambia. Kisa na maana, walikuwa hawajui.

In Dec 2024, Willy Paul caused a buzz on social media at the Furaha City Festival in which he alleged Diamond Platnumz’s security booed him and also barred him from performing.
However, it was later discovered that the Kenyan singer was after clout using Diamond Platnumz’s name to gain popularity both in Kenya and Tanzania.
