Zari Responds to Diamond Platnumz’s Claim That He Could Win Her Back Anytime
Renowned Ugandan businesswoman and socialite Zari Hassan has fired back at Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz following his controversial remarks suggesting he could win her back at any time.
Diamond, the father of Zari’s two children, had boldly claimed that rekindling their relationship was within his grasp if he desired.
Speaking in an interview with Kalondu Musyimi, the Reality TV star now married to Shakib Cham, dismissed the claims accusing Diamond of being a gaslighter.

“Diamond is another gaslighter. I think we have all seen what he did in the show. He has to say things like these to get to Shakib because, at this point, Shakib is winning. He married the mother of your kids and I feel that it stings. Diamond’s ego is something else,” she stated.
Zari and Shakib recently had their white wedding which was graced by friends and fellow cast of the Netflix Show, Young, Famous and African. She expressed satisfaction stating it was her dream wedding.
“It was beautiful. It was my dream wedding and I didn’t need something big. For me, it was about who was there,” she said.

Zari also revealed that they are good friends with Diamond despite their break-up, noting that she had invited Diamond to the wedding but he failed to show up.
“I’m in a good space with Diamond and we are good friends. I invited him, he decided not to come but I did my part,” she stated.
