Ex’s Name: Vera Sidika Hilariously Shares How She Earned Name Shikwekwe
Vera Sidika Mung’asia, Kenya’s finest socialite has revealed how she earned the moniker Shikwekwe.
Taking to her social handles, Vera Sidika revealed that the name Shikwekwe is not her real name. The Luhya lady said she earned it after a bitter fight with her estranged lover.
Vera Sidika, a rumpalicious mother of two, said that Kenyans on social media baptized her Shikwekwe six years ago when she and Jacob Obunga, popularly known as Otile Brown, split.

“People nicknamed me Shikwekwe after a nasty split with a certain artiste. When we split, we had a lot of drama on social media that wasn’t something to reckon with as good,” Vera narrated.
Vera Sidika added that at the time of the nasty breakup, some Mpesa receipts that she shared online had the real name of her estranged lover, Otile Brown, which, to online users, the name (Jacob Obunga) sounded funny.
” People realized that the artiste I was dating had an interesting name, and they were like, eh! Kumbe ma- celeb wako na interesting names hivi! Hawakuwa wanaamini that could be his name.

“So, everybody was like kama huyu ana jina kama hili, then Vera, her real name is Veronica Shikwekwe. I was so surprised and at that time, it was all fans and games. Everyone was laughing about it including me. “ Hilariously, Vera revealed.
Kenya’s bootylicious socialite stated the name which started as a joke; Kenyans made it alleged to be hers and believed it to be the real name.
However, she requested Kenyans not to call her Shikwekwe, claiming she doesn’t like it. “This name, Shikwekwe, is not my real name. Could you please leave it? Tuko 2025. Acheni kuniita Shikwekwe jamani. Niko serious. Please, msiiniite hilo jina. Silitaki. ” She requested.
