‘Keep off our Children,’ Khalwale Warns The US!

Kakamega County senator Boni Khalwale has sunk into the controversial death of LGBTQ activist
Edwin Kiprotich Kiptoo Alias Chiloba by warning the United States of America (USA) to come slowly
on the matter.

In a tweet in his official accounts, Khalwale claims that the Western world is wrongly
influencing African youth to pick up unfamiliar traits

“If African governments are looking for who is destroying the long-respected African social fabric
amongst our youth, look no further. The USA, keep off our children. Please,” he wrote.

The kakamega ‘’Bullfighter’’ was commenting to an announcement by the USA that it is willing to
help investigate Chiloba’s murder.

The United States Department of State spokesman Ned Price affirmed that the President Joe Biden-
led administration will offer any assistance needed to ensure justice is delivered.

“Ultimately the ultimate act of intolerance has no place in free and open societies. We made the
point last week that we urge and expect the Kenyans to conduct a thorough and transparent
investigation into his death. And of course, if there’s anything we can do to assist, we stand ready to
do that, said Price.

Chiloba’s body was discovered stuffed in a metallic box in Kipkenyo, Eldoret, on Wednesday,
January, 4, 2023 as eyewitnesses reported seeing unknown assailants drop off the metallic box by
the roadside before speeding off.

Police have so far arrested five people in connection with his death. They include Mr Jacktone
Odhiambo, Mr Dennis Litali and three minors.
