“Bado Kuamini”: Diamond Breaks Down To Tears As He Recalls Dida’s Death
Diamond Platnumz has yet to accept Dida’s death. In an exclusive with Wasafi FM journalist on Thursday evening, the Wasafi Media CEO said the death of his employee Khadija Shaibu Dida left him confused.
Two weeks after Dida’s death, Diamond stated that the late talented journalist was his employee and a close family friend.
The sad death according to Platnumz was something that left him confused and since he was out of Tanzania, he tried all the ways to heal from the heartbreak by avoiding social media and media interviews.

However, during the interview, he stated that he will talk about her death when he will be okay. Further, he said he did many things when Dida was in the hospital and even after her death.
“Nimekutana na misiba mingi lakini huu msiba ni tofauti sana na kutokana na uzito wake, ninahisi sipo tayari kuzungumzia. Siku nitakuwa tayari nitazungumzia lakini kwa sasa sipo tayari.” Diamond stated in the interview.
“Ni msiba mzito. Ni kitu kikubwa sana kuni-hit maishani mwangu. Bado sijakubali au kuamini. Kwanza, Dida si tu mfanyakazi wangu ila ni dada yangu wa karibu sana na chochote nilichokifanya wakati wa msiba, sikutaka kukiweka hadharani. Nikiwa tayari nitazungumza,” he added.

Khadija Shaibu (Dida), was a radio presenter at Wasafi FM who suddenly died after she fell ill over a short illness. After her death, she was buried in Dar es Salaam.
Upon her death, Diamond Platnumz through Wasafi Media director stated that the CEO promised to sponsor Dida’s daughter’s education.
