“Hili Limeniliza”: Diamond, Zuchu Writes Heartfelt Condolences In Mourning Dida, Wasafi FM Journalist
Diamond Platnumz and his girlfriend Zuhura Othman, popularly Zuchu, are in mourning after losing their closest friend and Wasafi FM journalist Khadija Shaibu( Dida).
Taking to their social handles, Diamond and Zuchu described Dida as a jovial, talented, and hardworking journalist.
Diamond Platnumz said the death of Dida hurt him to the extent that he was left speechless. Diamond Platnumz the CEO of Wasafi Media, parent to Wasafi FM and Wasafi TV, lost an employee, friend, and fan.

“Dah! Moyo wangu umeumia…hili limeniliza sana, hili limeniumiza … na awamu hii, nimeumia sana…” Diamond Platnumz said on his Instagram stories.
His girlfriend Zuchu, on the other hand, said, “Dada yetu tupo nyuma yako, marejeo yetu sote ni kwake Allah mwenye Amana ya nafsi zetu, ” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
Khadija Shaibu (Dida), 42, was a radio journalist at Wasafi FM, where she used to host an afternoon show dubbed Mashamsham alongside Juma Lokole and Idris Kitaa.

The celebrated journalist died on 4th, September 2024 at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam where she was receiving medication.
The radio journalist is set to be buried on September 5th, 2024, at Kisutu Cemetery in Dar es Salaam according to Islamic doctrines.
Following her death, several profiled people, including Tanzania president Dr Samia Suluhu, bongo flava singer Nandy, Harmonize, Angela, and Taarab fraternity led by Bi Khadija Kopa have mourned her as a journalist who loved her work and kept it at heart.
