“I Was Angry”: Shakib Regrets His Remarks About Zari In Their Recent Love Drama
He added that out of anger, he also regrets his remarks because it was never meant to look that nasty until the friend leaked the audio clip/ collage.
Shakib Lutaaya, a husband to Uganda entrepreneur Zari Hassan has said he regrets the remarks he made about Zari in their recent love drama.
In an exclusive with one journalist in Uganda, Shakib stated that he said a lot of words about Zari which he never thought would later hurt his conscience.Shakib stated that the audio that went viral in which he fumed at Zari after she hosted Diamond Platnumz in South Africa was leaked by a close friend.

“I didn’t leak the audio. A friend called me just after Zari’s live video had gone viral, and I was still upset. I was really affected by what I saw…,” Shakib shared.
He added that out of anger, he also regrets his remarks because it was never meant to look that nasty until the friend leaked the audio clip.
“I don’t have many friends who check on me, and when they called, I said a lot out of anger. It wasn’t meant to be like that. I didn’t know I was being recorded. As angry as I was, there are things I wouldn’t discuss.” He said.

Following the leaked audio, Zari clapped back at him accusing him of being insecure in their marriage despite her being faithful to him.After her response, Shakib termed it as disrespect and vowed to leave her unless she apologise and meet certain marriage conditions.
“I will only reconsider for a reconciliation if she meets certain conditions. She must take care of me as a wife, wash my clothes, cook for me and respect me,” Shakib stated after Zari told him to look for a young woman of his age to marry and that he was a broke man.
Currently, the two are back together after a reconciliation.
